Mark’s Flare characteristics: Creativity and excellence
Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in various departments, including Quality Control, Analytical Development, and Technical Operations, through which he has led teams to develop innovative methods to solve complex problems and support control strategies and regulatory requirements. Mark is excited to bring this experience to Flare to help ensure the reliability and safety of medicines for patients.
Mark has been involved in many clinical and commercial programs for indications including HIV (Nevirapine), NASH (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis), and most recently, cancer, where he led a large team in the analytical development for the drug linker portion of Trodelvy, an ADC (antibody drug conjugate) for metastatic, triple-negative breast cancer.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys good food and watching movies with friends and family.
An excellent team and a culture of innovation and creativity (recently validated by inclusion in Inc. Magazine's best workplaces list!) and a focus on cancer.
Knowing that the work I do can have real impact with people fighting cancer and can bring them hope, while also meeting the challenges involved in bringing a medicine to the market.
